Custom built Scuba Diving boat launched in Mauritius
Ocean Spirit Scuba Diving Mauritius launched our new boat last Friday at a fantastic afternoon event held at the Grand Baie Yacht Club. The 33ft Legend was designed with scuba diving in mind and was constructed locally in Mauritius. It is powered by 2 x 150hp Mercury motors so will have no problem reaching the Northern Islands quickly and comfortably.
Thanks to Anders from PADI Pros - Africa for revealing our name "Chelonia Mydas" which is the Latin name for the Green Turtle. The Green Turtle is special to Mauritius and special to Ocean Spirit Scuba Diving Mauritius as it is the featured resident of Turtle rock, our Project AWARE Foundation Adopted Dive Site.
We are looking forward to many comfortable dives on our new boat.
